Rev. Dominic lived in Port Arthur. He was a wastewater technician for the city, and also served as deacon in his church, the Shining Star Baptist Church. He was active in challenging the pollution and environmental injustice that his congregation and neighbors face from the petrochemical complex in the Golden Triangle area.
