Deyaun Boudreaux

Ms. Boudreaux is a resident of Port Isabel, Texas and serves as the environmental director for the Texas Shrimp Association. She has also participated on the boards of Texas Environmental Coalition and the International Center for the Solution of Environmental Problems. In addition to these trade association and non-profit efforts, she has been active in appointed government advisory work. For instance, she holds a seat on the Gulf of Mexico Fisheries Management Council’s Advisory Panel on Fisheries Habitat, has been a member of the EPA’s International Border Environmental Problems Public Advisory Committee, and has acted as the fisheries representative to the Citizen Advisory Commission for the Stennis Space Center’s Gulf of Mexico program. Throughout, she has been an advocate for maintenance of instream flows, mitigation of dredging effects, and the protection of Gulf water quality, particularly through opposition to the Vulcanus offshore toxic incineration proposal.
