Patricia Shield Ayres

Mrs. Ayres is a philanthropist, landowner, and conservationist. She helped begin the Shield-Ayres Foundation, and also founded and served as president of the Shield Ranch Foundation. Her family operates the Shield Ranch, which is protected by a major conservation easement held by the Nature Conservancy. The Ranch also hosts environmental education programs at Camp El Ranchito.
