Susan Rieff

Ms Rieff was a public servant. She earned an undergraduate degree in environmental science and a master’s in public policy and put that education to work in leadership positions in government and non-profit groups. She served as a Legislative Assistant to Arkansas Senator Dale Bumpers, as the first Director of Natural Resource Protection at Texas Parks and Wildlife, as Assistant Commissioner under Texas Agricultural Commissioner Jim Hightower, as Director of Environmental Policy for Texas Governor Ann Richards, as Policy Director for Land Stewardship at the National Wildlife Federation, and as the Executive Director of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
